Here in Queens, our dilemma is usually figuring out if it would cost less to replace certain things or to hire overnight security. Let me tell you neither is ever cheap. Nowadays, we install digital video recording systems at every site. Even if it’s a job that’s only a few months long, Metrocom gives us prices that we’ve been able to accommodate so far. Even better is that they’ve moved our cameras three times now and only charged for installation at the new locations.

I was very reluctant to have someone come in and install a new alarm system.Stuff like that is usually a hassle, but not this time around. Plus – we’ve had the same system for years with only minor problems. The only real problem was that we’ve been paying numerous people to monitor the premises at night when we still had shipments on our loading docks. Now we have over twenty people who can monitor the building from any place in the world, and we don’t even have to pay them extra. With the new alarms and surveillance cameras, I don’t see us having problems any time soon.
